Winter in Nova Scotia is often seen as a slow time for local food and goods, but Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market is one of a handful of winter markets that is helping to showcase just how much is available here in Nova Scotia during the snowy season.
The Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market kicked off their 2016 season last Saturday. Their season opening featured Appleton Chocolates, Caledon Jewels, Cratfthouse Cards, Earltown General Store, soaps from Keldora’s Kreations, leatherwork and woodwork from Linda Finnie, breakfast at Debbie’ Country Kitchen, coffee and baked goods from Downey Delights, and a huge range of local food, meat and baked treats from a range of local producers including Casson Family Farm, Connie’s Bakery, Sheryl’s Bakery and Vista Bella Farm.
The Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market is currently open each Saturday from 9 am – 1 pm. To celebrate the return of the market, Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia and the Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market have teamed up to give one lucky market shopper $50.00 in market money to use at the Tatamagouche Farmers Market. To enter, tell us what vendor you’ll visit first if you win the market money using the contest app below!
This contest will run until Monday, February 29th. A winner will be selected from all eligible entries. The prize will be available for pick-up at the Tatamagouche Farmers Market. Full contest details are below.
