This winter the New Glasgow Farmers’ Market built and opened a permanent market building. The new space meant the market could now operate year-round, and offer new and exciting features.
This month the market will celebrate their new space, and kick-off peak market season, with a Bringing Your Farmer Back Event.
Join the New Glasgow Farmers’ Market, May 21st from 9 AM – 1 PM. Explore the expanded market, shop more than 65 local vendors, dance to music by local musicians, dine in the new indoor and outdoor eating areas, and learn about community projects at the community tables.
There will also be activities for kids. There will be a kids craft area and popcorn!
During this event, guests will also get to experience the new Market Kitchen, a space open to restaurants, chefs, and non-profit organizations looking to hold a food fundraiser. Big Cove Foods will be creating delicious treats in the kitchen during the event.
