Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia is currently seeking to fill the following positions on our Board of Directors:
- BIPOC Representative. This seat is one of two seats to be exclusively occupied by individuals who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Colour). This seat will remain open until filled.
- Member at Large
A Board term is a 3-year commitment, with the option to serve up to two consecutive 3-year terms, before a year must be taken off.
Additional information:
Members of the FMNS Board of Directors meet once per month, usually virtually, except for 1 in-person Board Strategy Day and 1 in-person AGM. The FMNS Board is a governance/policy Board, and as such is not involved in the day-to-day operations of FMNS. The Board serves to review big picture items and provide financial guidance for the cooperative.
