What can the vouchers be redeemed for?
Vouchers can be redeemed with any market vendor at participating farmers’ market locations (list above). The only exception is that vouchers cannot be redeemed towards beverage alcohol products. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
We encourage everyone to explore the market and find a producer or maker that interests them.
Where can we use them?
Vouchers can be redeemed at a vendor at a participating FMNS member farmers’ market location (list above).
Please note: Vouchers cannot be used at non-FMNS member farmers’ markets or grocers such as farm markets.
Who will receive the Nova Scotia Loyal Vouchers?
- Each Nova Scotia public, homeschool and Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey student from pre-primary to grade 12 will receive a $10 voucher to use at a participating local farmers’ market. Registered homeschool students will receive an email on May 14, 2025 with a link to opt into the program. Reminder emails will be sent as well.
- Clients of ISANS and YREACH will receive vouchers in May 2025 to use at a participating local farmers’ market.
- Students at publicly funded post-secondary institutions will be receiving vouchers in September 2025. Stay tuned for more information.
